What are the best casual/cozy games right now?
Casual, cozy games have only been getting better but with hundreds of new titles coming to market it can be hard to know what is worth your time. We’ve put together a list of the top casual, cozy games for November 2022 so you can get to enjoying your games faster.
Disney Dreamlight Valley
Price: $30
Platforms: PC & All consoles
Disney Dreamlight Valley launched a few months ago but with the first big update just released and lots more to come we can’t think of a better time to pick up this Disney meets Animal Crossing instant classic. The developers have stated that it’s set to launch in 2023 as a free-to-play game so if you aren’t sold on the idea, you can hold off but that might be easier said than done with this smash hit.
Coral Island
Price: $25
Platforms: PC (will release on console in 2023)
Coral Island is being called the new Stardew Valley and it’s easy to see why. It takes elements of its predecessors to the next level while maintaining much of the charm we’ve come to love in farming simulations. With farming, socializing, mining, diving and exploring you will never run out of things to do. Still in early access, there is a lot more to come for Coral Island but it’s already worth picking up.

Slime Rancher 2
Price: $30
Platforms: PC & Xbox
In this vibrant simulation you play as a slime rancher, collecting slimes from the world around you while unlocking the secrets of Rainbow Island. If you enjoyed the first iteration of this charming casual game or have yet to pick it up there is a lot to love here. Like the two previous gams on our list, Slime Rancher 2 is also still in early access and it certainly shows, with many areas still blocked off and features yet to be added. Don’t let that scare you away though, there are dozens of fun filled hours to be had with the game as it stands, and it should only get better from here.

The Sims 4

We know that the Sims 4 has been out for 8 years, but this is the first time we’ve seen the beloved classic completely free. While 4 has been rightly criticized for its closed off world and repetitive dynamics, it’s still incredibly fun and almost impossible to set down. With the Sims 5 still being a few years out and tons of expansion, game, and stuff packs available you will have a hard time running out of things to do in The Sims 4.
